An article in Ynet about a study by Dr. Maggie Levy, a member of the department of plant pathology at the Faculty.
Dr. Levy's lab tries to work out the interactions between plants and fungi that cause gray mold disease, in order to find a way to stop its spread.
Recently, a unique pump has been discovered in the fungus Botrytis cinerea, which is activated when the plant is attacked and helps it to remove the toxic material.
